As you could see before i´m a little obsessed with colorful hair dye :)
Now i stumbled over pastel hair and fell for it immediately. But how do you do that?
Actually it´s not that difficult to do.
It is very important to start off as light as possible.
I was light blonde on one and white on the other site.
What you´ll need is heaps of Conditioner.
I used Frank Provost because i´m very happy with the products of this brand.
To that you´ll need a bowl or tuppaware, a dying brush and the colour of your choice.
I always go for LaRiche Directions.
This time i decided to go dot a pastel orange using Directions Tangerine.
Next up i poured the conditioner in the tuppa and added a little orange to my brush.
Adding more and more conditioner you can decide yourself how intense or light your colour will turn out. Because it washes out so fast you should go a tiny bit darker than you want to be in the end.
finish pouring conditioner when you´re happy and..
..apply on your head.
Leave in as long as you feel comfy and than enjoy <3
I tried out several colors by now.
For example turquoise.
And purple/blue mixed together.
On the lef side of the picture below you can see the pastel dye on the first day and
on the right side it is the same dye only four days later when washing your hair everyday.
Off course it stays in a little longer if you wash your hair a little less often.
I mixed my colours and poured them in a bottle so i can use it after washing my hair when showering.
I did this once in the time between the picture up right and the one right below and you can see how that turns out. It´s like freshing up the colours.
My result is that i´m personally totally into pastel dye and it´s a money saving way to dye your hair colorful because the hair dye last way longer than usual.
I love it <3
